Alnex Global Commodities is a Canadian import and export company headquartered in Barrie, Ontario. We specialize in sourcing and trading two of the world's most in-demand commodity categories — Canadian agricultural products and recycled paper grades — connecting Canadian suppliers with buyers across India and global markets.
Operating under our parent company Akshee Corporation, we are a registered Canadian exporter with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and hold all required licenses to operate internationally.
Our Story
Alnex Global Commodities was founded with a simple but powerful idea — Canada produces world-class agricultural commodities and generates significant volumes of high-quality recyclable materials, while countries like India have a rapidly growing demand for both. We exist to bridge that gap.
Our founder, Meet Shah, brings entrepreneurial experience spanning both Canada and India, with deep roots in manufacturing, trade, and international business. With business operations across Barrie, Ontario and India, we understand both sides of the trade equation — what Canadian suppliers need and what international buyers demand.
We started with a focus on recycled paper and pulp grades including NDLKC, OCC, and tissue waste — sourced directly from manufacturers across Ontario — and expanded into Canadian pulses, lentils, and grains, where Canada holds one of the strongest positions in global supply.
What We Do
We source, trade, and export high-quality commodities directly from Canadian producers and manufacturers to verified buyers at paper mills, food processors, and industrial facilities across India and the world.
On the recycled paper side, we work directly with corrugated box manufacturers, packaging companies, and tissue mills across the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, purchasing their production waste and exporting it to paper mills in India where it is repulped and transformed into new paper products.
On the agricultural side, we source Canadian pulses and grains — including red lentils, green lentils, yellow peas, chickpeas, and mustard seed — from Saskatchewan and Manitoba, supplying Indian dal mills, food processors, and wholesale distributors.
